2023 PoE-enabled, two configurable input or output DMX universes, galvanically isolated

This controller supports the control of two separate DMX universes over Art-Net. Each port is fully independent and can be configured as an input or output. Additional behavior of each universe is configurable, like buffered output at a constant framerate vs. output synced to incoming data rate.

All device parameters can be configured through a web interface accessed at the device’s IP. In addition to the Art-Net and DMX settings, the device supports common network configuration like static IP vs. DHCP, network port, and subnet mask.

Power can be supplied through Power over Ethernet or through the onboard USB-C connector, or both. Switchover is instant with no dropout if one power source is removed while the other is still plugged in. PoE and USB power are fully galvanically isolated from the device and from each other in order to support different ground potentials in all three domains.

LED indication shows device power through a dedicated LED as well as status related to data direction, flow, and error through an RGB LED for each port.

A previous revision of this controller supports a single input or output universe of DMX with non-galvanically-isolated USB-C power.
